• Twist neutral wire from the lamp (usually white) to neutral wire in the electrical box on the ceiling, then twist the hot wire (usually black or red) to the lamp wire and screw on the wire caps. Attach the copper wire to the grounding screw on the crossbar for the ceiling electrical box.

• Once the decorative surround is in place attach the stained glass lamp to the electrical box on the ceiling, either with screws or with a stake and a decorative finial. If the lamp is suspended on a chain, attach the chain to the hook, twist the electric cable through the chain to the electric box.

• Install the power of the bulbs and restore to the electrical box on the ceiling at the circuit breaker. Turn on the light switch to test the power.
